So when DID Blair promise to step down?

This morning we witnessed the rare sight of two cabinet colleagues, lining on the same show, making entirely contradictory statements.

No spin. No coded words.

First, the Foreign Secretary told Sky News's Adam Bolton: "Tony Blair said he would not serve a full term through this Parliament." 

Within minutes Pete Hain, the Northern Ireland Secretary, insisted: "He (Blair) said he was going to serve a full term."

Only one of them could have got their facts straight. But which one?

That's where Channel 4's FactCheck comes in.
